CALEO Cashmere stands for timeless design and the highest quality. Each piece is made from 100% pure and certified cashmere and undergoes multiple quality controls.
The entire range is produced in small, family-run knitting factories in Northern Italy.
Fair working conditions, small production quantities, and a sustainable approach to the natural fiber cashmere are the cornerstones of CALEO. The founders deliberately forgo fast-moving trends in favor of targeted and exemplary production and processing of certified cashmere yarn in Europe.
Quality and design are for eternity – this founding idea has strengthened the entrepreneurs with every collection since. The CALEO style is straightforward, simple, and strong.

All prototypes are therefore developed with a love for clear lines and simple designs. "We are inspired by street style and love to reinterpret cherished garments. Simple cuts, clear forms, and elegant colors – that's how cashmere looks most beautiful to us."
The founders of Caleo Cashmere
The CALEO Cashmere brand was founded by two women from Upper Austria, Anna Franz and Elisabeth Bauer. The two friends established their CALEO Cashmere label in 2013 and have since worked with great passion and ambition on their own, personal cashmere collection.
The inspiration for the brand name comes from their children CArolina and LEOpoldo.
CALEO Cashmere is timeless, personal, and
reliable. For this reason, close relationships with producers and buyers are always a priority. Anna and Elisabeth maintain personal customer contact at the CALEO STORE in their hometown of Gmunden, as well as at pop-ups throughout Austria.
